"Lanikai Cycles"

"Lanikai Cycles" by Bill Braden

This is the third time we painted this scene, and like the place itself, there are more vehicles and people than the previous views. Commissioned by Jon and Jean the red headed couple on the left panel, it also includes their Aunt Millie, riding her bicycle by the monument.  With each depiction of this beautiful scenic point, the foliage is more trimmed, managed, less wild.  The traditional blown clouds and waves however seem to be as awe inspiring and sublime as ever.
