"Song of Wind and Wave" Makupu'u

“Song of Wind and Wave”  Makapu’u Beach by Bill Braden

From the look out at Makapu’u you can see the Koolau Pali, the windward cliffs, where hang gliding records were set using the ever-present trade winds.  The waters are deep and the swells are able to break on the beach at Makapu’u, a favorite body surfing site.  Every time I paint in this location the Pohaku, the rocks in the foreground speak to me.  Though the language is not any spoken tongue, can you read my calligraphy?
