"High Tide" Lanikai Triptych

Even though it was painted 30 years ago, it has been our best-selling image for the last fifteen or so years. Bill used to take a wheelbarrow down to the beach with the paints and paintbrushes to create this image.  It took two easels because the painting was the size of a wind surfer sail.  It’s a good thing that winds usually blow onshore in Lanikai. Otherwise he would have been blown out to sea.  Also on the windward side you can see the rain clouds coming in from the horizon.  He would hide himself and let the rain wash the salt off the canvas.  Praise the Lord, for oil paint.
