Bill
Braden's Work - Public Commissions and Displays
(Page 4 of 5)

Bishop Museum Poster:
At the 2005 Annual
Fundraising event for Bishop Museum, Bill was asked to display a wide
range of work available for sale at the hallowed “Hawaiian Hall”
in Bishop Museum.
For this local artist,
this event remains the zenith of his exhibition achievements, to show
his work with the treasures of Hawaii in the throne room of Hawaiian
culture. The
“Hawaiian Jungle Screen” (6’ X 24’) looked particularly
at home in the giant hall.
The poster was created
by the Bishop Museum for this event.

JK7
– OlaLoa, The Spa Retreat for the
Seven Senses at the Sulilivan
Estate:
The
Sullivan Estate, A.K.A. “The Elvis Presley House” was recently
featured in the news as the most expensive residence for sale.
The
current owners purchased “The North Shore Icon” painting
(commissioned by the N.S.C.L.T. to preserve the Pupukea Paumalu
property) for $30,000.

For information on the N.S.C.L.T. go to the E.I.S. section of this website.
Subsequently they asked Bill and Jinny to paint an original oil mural
for their private spa, JK7 - OlaLoa The SPA Retreat for the Seven Senses.
Additionally they
ordered a number of reproduction screens for use in creating visual
privacy for their friends using the spa.
